Jib cranes are primarily composed of four main components: the lifting unit, jib arm, column, and electrical installation. Their main purpose is to assist existing overhead cranes. However, depending on operating conditions, they can also be used individually along the aisle.
What are the advantages of using a jib crane?
• Material handling in tight spaces: Jib cranes can transport materials to areas where overhead or portal cranes cannot reach, making them more advantageous in this regard compared to other cranes.
